The Conference
Sweden stands as one of the world's most digitally advanced countries, leading the way in digital innovation. Both citizens and organizations have become accustomed to seamless digital processes when interacting with banks, healthcare systems, municipalities and various authorities.
Modern society heavily relies on functioning information and communication technologies. A targeted cyber attack on critical infrastructure, public authorities, or critical private companies can have significant consequences for an open society and pose a threat to national security.

Organizations in Sweden face thousands of IT attacks each month. These attacks specifically target critical entities that play a crucial role in the functioning of Swedish society.
The perpetrators behind these attacks can be foreign nations seeking to destabilize our society, criminal organizations driven by financial motives, or individuals with varying and often undisclosed intentions.
Sectors such as healthcare, energy, banking, finance, insurance, media, municipalities, and national government organizations are all prime targets for cyber attacks.
Prioritizing Cyber Security
The nation's competitiveness is heavily reliant on continuous digital advancements. Recognizing this, the Swedish government has placed significant emphasis on prioritizing cybersecurity measures for organizations critical to national security.

Svensk cyberresiliens är nödvändig för att skydda nationen mot cyberhot och skapa en trygg digital framtid. Det handlar om att stärka våra försvar mot attacker, skydda samhällsviktiga system och främja säkerhet för företag och individer.
André Catry har en bakgrund från svenska ambassaden i Moskva, Säkerhetspolisen och Militära Underrättelse- och Säkerhetstjänsten. Idag arbetar André som cybersäkerhetsrådgivare för advokatbyråer och försvarsindustrin.

Hur jobbar CERT-SE för att uppfylla uppdraget med att vara Sveriges nationella CSIRT? Hur hanteras incidenter på nationell nivå? Vad kan vi alla göra tillsammans för att göra cyber-Sverige säkrare?
Karl Selin har varit verksam inom IT-säkerhetsområdet sedan slutet av 80-talet. Sedan dess har Karl arbetat för flera statliga myndigheter samt varit konsult inom den privata sektorn. Nu arbetar Karl för den svenska nationella CSIRTen, CERT-SE, som Senior Cybersäkerhetsspecialist.
